Papa Jerf! says:
Whenever I do decide to buy music, I generally shop here. Prices aren't bad, maybe a $1 or $2 more than the majors. Plus they have tons of rare and hard-to-find indie released cds, dvds, even vinyl. Plus Ear X-Tacy is pretty much the staple for local music scene. Not only do they carry local band merch, their bulletin board is the place to find everything you need to know about whats current in the local music and art scenes. It's no problem for me to drop $100 or more in a single trip.

I do like to pop in occasionally and see what is new. When I do decide to buy a CD, I'll go here or BME because they are locally owned and operated. I refuse to give me money to corporate giants if I can at all help it.

Haven't been to ear x-tacy in years. Wasn't impressed any of the times I went in there, though. Why leave home for music when you can pay for it and download it on the Internet? They do have mojo bumperstickers, though. ;)

Great store, but someone needs to keep their prices in check!

When I do decide to buy music now a days I go to ear-x-tacy. All the rest of the time, the digital world is the way to buy or *download* music.

DisneyFreak says:
It's a music store that is automatically assumed "cool" because it's in the highlands. Their music is usually more expensive than Best Buy and it's harded to find various CD's throughout the store. On the plus side, they do sell vinyl and have a cool selection of knick-knacks.
