You're welcome, indeed, encouraged, to promote your events or parties here... provided you post in the proper areas and within the rules.

Your PROFILE - We start here because a profile is needed to utilize most of the features on Mojo. It's your #1 networking tool and the hub of everything that you do on Mojo. You are allowed to promote your business or service within your profile. You can tell folks about what you do and provide links to your web site(s).

The HAPPENINGS calendar (option at the top of the screen) gets viewed thousands of times each week. When in Happenings, use the post option to create your own calendar listing. It's entirely free to use, but do pay attention to the rules there when posting your event. If you wish to edit or delete your event after posting it, choose the edit option on this screen.

The CLASSIFIEDS (option at the top of the screen) are another effective measure to promote your services on Mojo. Please do not promote EVENTS in the CLASSIFIEDS - that's what the HAPPENINGS calendar is for. However, if you have something you wish to sell, or a service that we have a category for, you are more than welcome to post an ad or three.

Mojo LIVE is a FREE group for anyone: artists, bands, interest groups and non-profits, ideally those who have regular meet-ups or public performances. A Mojo Live Group allows the members and fans of these groups to stay in touch with each other, share common interests, etc.

• You must have a local profile on Mojo in order to create and manage a Live Group.
  
• Each mofo can have a maximum of TWO groups.
  
• No fake groups are allowed! If you're not running the group with serious intent and effort, please don't run one at all.
  
• no MLM or work at home groups are allowed, ever! Please don't pollute Mojo with these.
  
• Live Groups that have been inactive for 30 days or more will be deleted at our discretion.
  
• As with everything on Mojo, no X-rated pictures or content is allowed.
  
• Individuals, venues, bands, and businesses may purchase a Community Sponsored Live Group for $100 monthly, billed quarterly. Contact us at Metromojo.com to learn more about all of the enhanced features you get from sponsorship.

Please DO NOT...

promote commercial events in the Mojo on the Town Forum. This is for person-to-person invites, Mojo Live Group activities, and official Mojo parties only.

promote your business in the forums, as it just clutters the conversation and sidetracks discussions.
