When using a credit card, our system automatically checks with your bank to see that the address you entered matches your BILLING ADDRESS. Please be sure to grab a copy of your credit card bill and make sure you use that same address when you sign up.
When you purchase something via credit card, whether it’s at a store or online, 99% of the time, what happens is what’s called in the industry as an Authorization and Charge. In other words, if your purchase is for $45 dollars, Mastercard asks your credit card company if you have $45 for the charge. If the answer is yes, then your credit card company will freeze $45 of your money and send along an authorization to the merchant, and the funds will be removed at the end of the day and sent to the merchant.
This is important to know, because if for some reason your purchase does not complete properly and you attempt the transaction again, another $45 will be frozen by your credit card company. If you try it 10 times, that means $450 of your money will be frozen. These are not CHARGES. They are merely holds. They will be automatically released by the next day. On rare occasions it can take 2-3 days.
So long story short, know your proper address when signing up, and if your signup does not complete properly for some reason, please use the help link in the left hand column to send us an email, and we’ll be happy to look up your transaction and assist you. Note: 9 times out of 10, it’s because you entered the wrong address or zip code.
