My son has brought back some memories to me. We have been discussing what he has learned in Social Studies at school. He is in the 7th grade now. I remember really liking it in elementry school. It was pretty cool in high school as. I remember my teachers Elvis impression he did on the first day of school. LOL It also got me interested in history too. Learning about the Unites States history and other countries was realling interesting to me.. I also like reading historical romance novels now too. It made me want to refresh my momory on some of stuff I had learned and maybe learn more stuff. I had my Mom take me to the libray to get some history books on the civil war that we had here.
One thing cool about being an innder cycle member is that you get to see who is checking out your profile. What I don't get is why the same people keep checking out your profile, but never messenging you. What is up with that? I don't get it. I realize I am a Traumatic Brain Injury survivor and all, but I have pretty good cognitive thinking skills. What am I missing or not getting here?
My friend Jesse and I met my other friend Cindy at Comedy Caravan on Wednesday, March 10th. We had a great time. The comedians were great. I ran into some other people I know from the support group I go to for people who have injured like me. It was really nice being out with two of my good friends.
Today I went for a walk. I have a pedometer. I walked 2.8 miles. I thought and felt like it finenally warmed up enough for me to do that. My son has informed me since I quit smoking going on 7 months now, that I was getting pudgy. I have been told by other people I just look a lot healthier. Anyway the more you move, the more energy you get, the more calories you burn. I'm just glad it warmed up enough for me to do that today. I hope it stays like this. It was nice being on in the sun. Made me feel good.
