Hello.
My Name is Evan, and I've been addicted to interactive fiction since I was 7, and now I want nothing more than to give inspiration to others like me. What I'm looking for is collaborators, with skills I do not possess, in order to create something bigger than myself. I want to create a video game company from the ground up right here in Louisville, Ky, and I need your help. Yes, you. Programmers, level designers, other graphic artists and writers, let's get together and make something amazing happen!!
The video game industry is growing every day, and the markets I want to tap into are vast. I wish to develop games, eventually, for the iPhone, XBLA, WiiWare and PSN networks, and if we succeed, who knows what other directions we might take this.
My skills as an visual designer, sci-fi writer, sound designer/voice actor and composer fills a significant creative gap that a lot of start-ups are missing. I've constructed a massive universe in which 3 planned titles are going to take place, and all the questions are answered. I also have several design documents prepared for puzzle and action games that would be perfect for the iPhone/iPod Touch markets. I'm also not interested in ripping anyone off, so anyone who gets in from the start and stays in will be taken care of, if our projects net ANY funds.
I'm inspired by Anime (Macros, Cowboy Beebop, the works of Miyazaki, Escaflowne, countless others), Star Trek, Star Wars (the original trilogy), Dr. Who, Japanese culture, Dungeons & Dragons, RIFTS, Shadowrun ( the pen and paper RPG, not the dreadful xbox360 game) and that's just scratching the surface. If you're interested, and you're a programmer, designer, writer, graphic artist, why not do something that could become your career? I want nothing more than to build a legacy for myself and to create jobs for inspired, fascinating individuals who aren't interested in moving to the "entertainment mecca's" of New York and Silicon Valley just to start all over again.
Let's put Louisville on the Gaming map. Let's show the world what we can do.
