Body in a Suitcase: The body of a young woman was found in a suitcase in the area between the Smoketown and Shelby Park neighborhoods, WLKY is reporting.

Was the 'Fed' Murder a Suicide? Investigators are starting to suspect that death of the Kentucky census worker found hanging from a tree with "fed" written on him was a suicide, not a murder, WAVE3 is reporting.

The Wicked Step-father? Police have arrested the stepfather of the 15-year-old girl found murdered near her own home in Southern Indiana, the girl's grandfather has told WAVE3 that she may have been killed because of a long-standing feud with her stepfather.

No More Mayors'-for-Life? A Metro Council committee is now looking at changing term limits for future Metro Mayors, according to WFPL.org. The proposal under consideration would change mayoral term limits from three terms to two.

Nineteen-year-old Firebug: A 19-year-old man has been charged with arson for setting fire to the Breckinridge Square Apartments Tuesday, WLKY is reporting.

Speaking of Suicide: And speaking of suicide, the annual Out of the Darkness Community Walks held around the country are fundraisers for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, to help fund research, education, survivor and awareness programs — to both prevent suicide and help people affected by suicide.

Louisville's Out of the Darkness Walk is this Saturday at Waterfront Park. The 3.5 mile walk starts at 10 a.m. For more information on participating, or to donate go here.

Jesus Christ... Between the shootings and discarded bodies I'm starting to think that neighborhood has a problem. ;-)

This is the next step in developing our own brand of citizen journalism.
I'm here to report on what I see going on in Louisville, to look for stories wherever and whatever they are, and to get you to help me. If you know of something going on that's good, or something that's going on that shouldn't be, let me know. We want to shout it from the rooftops, or - even better - help you to do it.
