help...      haha!

Welcome to our Channels, our own little initiative in citizen journalism. Like everything on Mojo, 99% of what you'll see here is all you. We've been working hard on these so-called channels and we hope you like what you see. There are kinks that need to be worked out, there's no doubt about that, and everything isn't categorized correctly yet, but we'll keep working on it. Overall, we think it's a pretty good first effort, and we hope you enjoy browsing the Mojo pages. If you see something missing, or you have something to add, don't wait for an invite. Dive in... the waters fine!

A couple of things to keep in mind when browsing the channels...

The channel pages here are "near-real-time", so if you post a new blog entry and select a channel for it, it could take up to 15 minutes to appear.
Should you come across a piece that you think is especially good, be sure to give them their "kudos", as that's how they'll end up being featured more prominently here and throughout the channels.

Best,
  - Chuck

Waterfall and pond
It only took me two years to get around to completing it, but I'm almost done with the waterfall I built out front after about 3-4 hours of work on it today. Still have to add quite a few rocks around the perimeter and seal off the water, so that it does not leak out the back. Many of the rocks on the perimeter I dug out ... more

Allison Ln.
I really think that they should be able to bring up that lady's past. I mean shit if she's already pulled a gun on 2 different people this year for the same shit and it's not even been 6 months, what makes you think that her kid wouldn't do the same thing. Also both incidents has happened on Allison Lane, what's up with t ... more

Attention restaurants
I generally do not like cheese. That is why I order my food, without cheese. This concept seems to perplex people, especially those that work in restaurants. Tonight I had a salad...no cheese, at least not once I picked it out. I had chili...no cheese, so what's the stringy yellow stuff in my chili? They aren't putting it o ... more

VFW-Veterans for Welfare?
I was reading an article on the website VA Watchdog dot org, where Larry Scott slams about a supposedly "active duty military officer with multiple Iraq deployments and continuing active duty career." The anonymous author of the posting goes on to trash our veterans who have service-connected disabilities. Insisting that v ... more

Macca's
1315 Herr Lane in the Westport Village Shopping Center We went to Macca's Friday night with the FDC. They do not take reservation but will let you call ahead. We had 18 people, which we awkwardly had to divide between two tables. It's never good to divide a group like that. The restaurant is new, this often leads to slow a ... more

Deja vu?
Does anyone besides me look around and think about The Great Depression? I was not the best student in American History, but I do remember a little. What I remember is economic ruin brought on by the crash of the stock market. The economy was made worse by a natural disaster, the dust bowl, in the mid west. Beginning to ... more

Amerigo
Amerigo 871 S. Hurstbourne Pkwy There are a lot of Italian restaurants locally...and a good number in the Hurstbourne area. Once you find one you like, there isn't a lot of reason to try the new ones...unfortunately. We stopped into Amerigo recently on a Sunday afternoon. I was impressed with the atmosphere...but felt un ... more

Cohesive Consciousness
What would we be without our cohesive consciousness? For all we are but a field of atoms and subparticles infinitely spaced, From our phenomenon of experience we perceive a solid being, without our lifeforce we would be but dust. ...CHECK OUT MY BLOG IN THE LINK BELOW "PTSD, A Soldier's Perspective".................. ... more
