Saw it last night and enjoyed it. For once I don't think it's quite left open for another movie. Especially since the cop that was finishing Jigsaw's games, well, it didn't kill him at the end, but that sure was a large chunk of his face missing. I have to wonder if he's going to bleed out or something... but then, gotta milk the series and he'll be back. I was especially surprised to see Jill finish out that last "game". I didn't think she had it in her. *lol* She also said she just wanted to finish out her husbands last wishes, so I don't believe she's going to continue.
A lot of people are sick of this series, but I still find it enjoyable.

We still have to find out what was in the envelope that Jill put through the slot in the office door.

Disappointing. Most of the acting was terrible and the games weren't as creative as the other movies. The gore was still there but overall it wasn't as clever as the first few. I heard the next one will be in 3D. They should wrap it up with that one. The games are played out.

good Lord they are trying to drag that out. I hope Sylvester Stallone gets word so he can do a Rocky VII. "We're out of ideas but we aren't out of traps" I wish Steven Seagall would show up and just take everyone out and end it already.

By trying to take the Saw Series into individual parts, you really miss out on the greatness that it is. It's a collective and as a collective, it's simply fantastic.
People "think" it's supposed to be a horror film, but it's not. It's a psychological thriller if it's to be defined. And it's not just about gore and death. The movie is about life, and what people take for granted often is just that.. life.
My favorite series ever.

I love the Saw series, they have production plans for VII and VIII already.
Taken individually I can see how some come away confused or uninterested.
It's when you take the series as a whole that it really comes into its own.
That and most people consider 'Blood & Gore' slasher flicks to be horror.
Not really, getting queasy because of blood isn't horror. Having your mind fucked with and not being able to anticipate the next move which makes you nervous is horror.
I hate western 'horror' movies, they miss the point almost as bad as if they fired in the complete opposite direction and the point was in another country all together.
